Colby, the information on the statements is in my opinion, not the problem. The problem would be what the operator does with the numbers before he puts them on the statement. I might be interested in someone capable of auditing a well which I have the right to do because I am not a lessor. I have a family member who is a forensic auditor, but they are pretty busy. Unfortunately, I think most lessors do not have the right, to audit the well/operator.
I need someone to go after a company that didnt pay me on all the extra wells when they created a unit. I would never had know about the extra wells intill a new company took over and started paying me on all the wells I should have been receiving income on for over 15 years.

I would be very interested in providing raw data for such a project. We enter data off of checks and do spot checks with the RRC and also confirm and send information back to our client for them to verify that it matches their deposits. We do this on a well by well along with an operator by operator basis.
