My sister heard from a so called geologist, that he believes there is a huge new oil field that runs from Glasgow to Baker. He told my sister that it is bigger than Saudi Arabia. The oil field is suppose to be 10,000 feet down. Has anyone heard of this find?

If you are talking about California, it's probably the Monterey Shale. If it is ever allowed to get off the ground, it's going to be a monster. Google It.

Then that would be the Bakken Shale. Probably other formations as well.
I just Googled "Bakken Shale" and got 801,000 hits. All the maps and data you need to find out what's happening in the area.
