We have several acres in Blaine County, Sec. 11, 18N, 13W and have rec'd a lease offer of $750 per acre and 3/16. In looking at the Mineral Registry the leases in Blaine have the recent range of $1750 to $4100 per acre. What's a good starting point for us to negotiate? Thanks for your input!

Hi Bill;

I am just now seeing your post. My brother and I have 160 acres just NW of you in section 3. We leased last August with Newfield. This was our 1st offer in some 25 years. I see that Newfield has started drilling in section 8 now though. Perhaps we can communicate more as we go along, friend me if you like. Lanny Sells
