Blk 59 PSL survey

Hello, I'm writing because I have found four leases dating back to 1939 all in BLK.59 PSL in Reeves county. How do I find out if they are still good. These mineral rights were all passed on to me from my mother who passed away. I currently have another lease that originated at this time, as well as some from 1953 that are currently leased and have had title search, and are fine. But these four were just discovered by me, and I don;t know if the leases are still valid, or if I can get leases on them. How could I find out if they are still valid leases? I would appreciate any advise. Thank you, Wendy

Wendy, Check your lease language, but most leases lapse if production stops. Any production on your or surrounding acreage?

There are two wells on one of the properties, and there seems to be activity in the area. I'll look closer at the lease. thanks
