BP well or wells on S7 T5N R1E

I got copies of docs when the well was proposed, drilling and spacing, etc, and I'm pretty sure at least one well was drilled by either Charter Oak or BP after Charter Oak sold to them, probably mid summer. But I've heard nothing since then. Anybody know anything about these BP wells?

Charter Oak permitted the Ellis 5N 1E 7 1HX . Spud date was Feb 23, 2017. Well was sold to BP America Production May 11, 2017. I don't see a completion report, but it probably is completed. Supposed to drill a multi-section into 18. No information on the OK tax site yet, so not producing?

I don't know if it's producing or not, but I haven't heard anything so I guess not. Do they drill dry holes anymore? Seems like that's a thing of the past. I've also gotten requests to sell the mineral rights for $2000/acre from Pentex. That makes me think something is going on but I don't have the ability to check up.

If I have an offer to buy, I hold on because someone knows something and I would rather benefit.

There is a nice little island of thicker Woodford in 7, 18, 17, 20, and 19 so that is probably why the offers are $2000/ac there and only $500/ac surrounding.

Thanks! You are very helpful. Any idea why they may not be producing on the well(s) they probably drilled last year?

OK at first I thought it was $2000 per acre to lease! I have some there and thought I under-leased it!

Yeah, no, they are trying to buy my royalty interest on property that's already been drilled.

I would not sell. Anybody offering 2000 is expecting 10000 to come in!

I believe there were completion problems on the Ellis well in this section. Tank battery removed but natural gas line completed to site and will be used no doubt for wells further west.

Charter Oak makes their return on participation chumps!

C_Groff…I don’t believe those larger companies that can afford the 3D pictures (you know the word I can’t spell…Siemicgraphing) LOL have very many if any dry holes any more because they can see what’s down there before they drill. Not like the Wildcatters they used to drill. But I guess some of the smaller companies might still do. I think there are many more things that might go wrong with a well besides it just being a dry hole.
