Buddy Cooten , who has advised many of us , has died. Thought there were some here who would like to know.

Oh dear… Thank you for sharing the notice. Buddy has given so much good advice over the years. He will be sorely missed. Condolences to his family.
I’m sad to hear about Mr. Cotten. I didn’t know him personally, but yes he will be greatly missed on this forum.
Buddy was a real stalwart on this forum when it first started. He helped a lot of people, wrote entertaining posts, and gave no nonsense advice. He departed the forum to take care of his wife when she became ill, came back for a while after that, and was a real asset to so many. He will be missed.
