Calyx in Payne County

Hi all,

New to this forum. About a year I leased my mineral rights to Calyx (Sec 31-19N-1E)
I know this is a dumb question... can someone explain the land location coordinates... is the section the smallest unit or is 1E the smallest unit?

Second Question... does anyone know about the activity in this area?

I just received a second letter from OK Mineral Company wanting to buy my rights for $1,000 per acre ... seems like a really a low offer.

Steve

The section is a square mile in most cases. The township is an east west row from 2W to 6E. The townships are a series of 36 sections in payne county that go from the south at 17N to 21N at the north end.

Thanks... how about activity in that area south of Carl Blackwell Lake...anything worthwhile?

Some activity in 19N - 03E and 19N -04E, but nothing at this point in 01E

Calyx is bringing in some fairly successful wells. Might want to ask Calyx if they plan to drill soon. The 19n and 1e are the larger coordinates - 6 square miles. Within this area there are 6 sections across and 6 sections down or 36 sections (36 square miles). Just to make it difficult, the sections are numbered like this:

6 5 4 3 2 1

7 8 9 10 11 12

18 17 16 15 14 13

19 20 21 22 23 24

30 29 28 27 26 25

31 32 33 34 35 36

Thank you Katherine.
