I have mineral rights in this sect. I understand they have drilled, but don't know
what to expect in the future. The mineral rights are leased. Can anyone tell me what the procedure is.
In general, it will be about six months before you get a Division Order from the operator. If it is on a basic NADOA form, has a phrase on it that says "this does not change any terms of the lease" and if the the royalty interest matches your acreage, then sign it, attach a W-9 and you should get royalty checks shortly after that if your title is clear. Come back here in six months if you have problems and we will help walk you through it.
