I received a lease offer of $350.00/ac, 3/16, 3 yr. from Canadian Valley Energy Fund. Caddo Co S5 10N 10W Has anyone else received an offer in this area or worked with them? Its been a long time since I had activity in Caddo.
I do not see any filed leases in 5-10N-10W in the last three years. However, there have been quite a few in the township. I always ask for what they are offering for 1/5th and 1/4 so see if there are higher royalty options. Classic Resources and Rosebud Resources plus a few others are also leasing in the township.
Always wise to get an attorney to review the draft lease as it will probably need changes to get clauses more favorable to the mineral owner.
