I got a regular check from them this month. No bump in gas prices for Feb. Unit sent me a huge bump in the pricing. Knighton sent me a huge check
Any idea why Canyon didn’t pay the bump in prices

Each company has their own contract with the transmission companies. Some have their own transmission lines and can get higher spot prices. Could be due to contracts or it could be due to the amount of gas that they were allowed to produce. I have seen the same thing for Feb. Some companies had a nice temporary bump in prices paid and some did not. Some companies had wells with frozen well heads so could not produce as much. Just depends…
volume was the same, should royalty owner lose out because canyon sold it cheap
They are bound by their contracts.
