Cactis Rig 137 is on Sec 15 T3S R2E is the Berwyn 1-H15 and there is also a Berwyn Compressor Station going in on Sec22 T3 S2E
Offer to purchase.
Have received a few offers from same company to purchase my very small interest in S21, T4S, R3E (3 net acres in SE/4. Leased to Chesapeake in 05/11. Try as I might, cannot tell why they want to bet on this. Did same on a Stephens County interest that is now producing. Anybody have any insight?
Steven, they know the area is hot. I would not sell.
Kenneth,
Where are your mineral interest located? I have interest in Sec 30 3S 3E.
I was checking the Ardmore paper this morning and I came across an Exception Location for sec 30 03S 03E. The well is OWENS 6-5H32. What caught my eye was the ‘6’. I look into and there is a well in the section, OWENS 1-5H or maybe OWENS 1-5H32, OCC has changed the naming convention. I found the Increase Density request, CD201302018.
Below is the Increase Density Document. When completed there will be 10 wells in this section, at 400’ spacing.
Here is another good section to have mineral interest in, Sec 21 3S 3E.
Daniel, my interests are in S21 T3S R2E. Contacted XTO this morning and they gave me the old wait 2 more weeks for heirship forms to be signed off. Gave me a new owner number however, maybe that is a sign of some progress. Is XTO always this slow in processing paperwork?
Kenneth,
XTO goes at there own pace. It is a good idea to develop patiences. I have seen some activity on wells that have pending issues have multiple hearings with the hearings continued may 9 times and take maybe 12 to 18 months. I think the big hold up is a shortage of drilling rigs. Some sections have requests in for 8 and 9 additional wells, section 21 3s 3e and section 31 3s 3e come to mine. The average well takes about 50 - 60 days to drill before the fracing, tanks installation, piping, etc.
Daniel, Thanks, looking at your link now. I received checks a year and a half ago after my dad passed away, and notified XTO that heirship would papers would follow shortly. Took some time to get all the probating done and got all the papers to them 4 months ago. They told me one check would be issued shortly to cover checks issued previously and everything up to date. I assume that if production started and checks for that were sent out, there will be additional funds added bring me up to date, is that correct? Many thanks for your help in this, being new to all this leaves me in the dark.
Kenneth,
The 4 wells XTO is planning on drilling in 24, is the
PARKER 1 23H24
PARKER 2 23H24
PARKER 3 23H24
PARKER 4 23H24
The 23H24, means that the surface hole location (SHL) is located in section 23, the ‘H’ means horixontal well, and the 24 means the bottom hole location (BHL) is located in 24. The BHL is where the money is.
Kenneth,
Here is the completion report. Look over on the right and you can see the 1st sales date. On the second page you will see the oil and gas output at the start and the choke, which is a % of full flow opening.
Daniel, sorry…that was S24 T3S R2E. My mistake.
Kenneth,
There are 4 drilling permits for your area, here is a copy of one of them.
http://imaging.occeweb.com/OG/Well%20Records/1DD0A270.pdf
On the last page you will note that they have a couple of items pending, one of which is to have the wells closer than the standard 600’. They are requesting a well spacing of 400’. This may mean that they are planning more wells in the far off future.
Kenneth,
What well are you receiving royalties from?
I maybe able to find the completion report, which has the first sales date. It sounds like XTO paid you royalties, then stopped for the last 18 months or so.
Daniel, Well#/Name: 108795/Sampley 01-24H. Does that help? And, yes, I did get checks from them giving breakdown on the products from the well.
Daniel, Ok…now for the big question. What does this mean dollar wise. First checks I received totaled a little over $400. Does this mean there is still activity and more to come? Please bear with me…I don’t mean to sound, well, silly. Just don’t quite understand all I read.
Daniel, i noticed you are leaving natural gas liquids out of your calculations . NGL is also sold. Just a fiy
Kenneth,
How long has it been since you filed/recorded everything and sent XTO the paper work?
Daniel, I talked to XTO this morning and they told me my new owner number which had been assigned to me and said the paperwork from their attorney, I assume ‘in-house’ getting posted was all that was needed to cut my checks. Said no more than 2 weeks.
