Carter County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Liz, we’re neighbors - our sections touch corners diagonally…I’m in Sec 36, 4S 1W. Let me know if you hear anything. I haven’t had so much as a tire kicker.

Regards,

Ann

Daniel these were estimates from XTO employee who should know. I see Halliburton going down the hiway here in Chickasha nearly every time I go to town. A lot of their equipment is shiny new so they are gearing up to meet demand. I am still looking at year end to early next year, and assuming they make a good well, the money should show up about then. A bad well is another senario that I am not playing

Ronald,

Sorry to hear that. My drilling permit expired so I have aways to go before I these issues.

Hi, Ann. Great…good to know that. I will let you hear if anything comes along. It seems we are always the last to know! Good to hear from you. Liz

Kenneth,

My guess is the well production has gone down, as they all do and that your mineral interest is on the small side.

The check ‘stub’ lists all the products produced each month and the price of each product as well as your mineral interest.

The completion report shows 152 bopd and 2,073,000 cfd. That would have been at the wells best production. XTO probably choked back the well.

Daniel,

I finally got my first check from XTO. After over a year of activity since last getting a check, $632 doesn't seem like much especially if it includes the over $400 they issues checks for a year ago and I couldn't use until my interests were transferred. Am I misunderstanding something or is this just a low producing well or is my portion so small that this is about right? Thanks.

Hello,

I am also wondering if XTO has reduced or stopped production on the wells where I have royalties. I have been receiving regular royalty checks every month but haven’t received anything for April. Can’t get them to call me back either. Anyone have any insight?

Thanks, Laura

Daniel,

Yes, the information you listed is correct. I have a call in to XTO but haven’t heard anything else. Guess I will try again tomorrow if I don’t hear from them.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reassurance

I just thought it was strange that we have had regular royalty checks for years (first chesapeake and now xto) and we haven’t received anything from them for April.

If a well was dry or shut-in, would they let the royalty owners know?

Laura,

Patience is the name of this game. I’ve been waiting since Oct for XTO to drill and it looks like it willl be very late this year or early next year.

Ricki,

I just looked at the OCC docket results for yesterday, 4/29/2013, and it looks like the proteset of the increase density in section 32 3S 3E is going to trial.

Daniel, OK…thanks.

Laura,

It is not as bad as it sound like. The Woodford and other shale plays seem to run along the south end of the Arbuckle Mountains from Stephens down to Marshall county. I am guessing that XTO would be drilling some horizontail wells over there in the distant future as all of your wells are verticals and the area may produce more with the horizontal wells.

Hi Laura,

I just had a well come back on line after being down for two months to install a GAS LIFT to remove fuilds that the low gas pressure could not push out.

What section/township/range is your mineral right located in?

I don’t have the section/township/range on me right (it’s at home) now but I do know the names of the wells:

Ernestine 01-11

Jones 01-11

Stevens 01-11

Tracey Lynn 01-11H

Ernestine 02-11

Laura,

If you have a SHUT-IN clause in your lease, then all XTO has to do to keep the lease, is pay you a small amount each year. I don’t think XTO is interested in the wells, they want the lease(s).

Laura,

Looks like all of your wells are just west of Springer in Section 11 3S 1E. Also, it seems that XTO has purchased all these wells from Chesapeake.

All the wells look like vertical wells and they vary from small to dry. If you have not heard anything fro XTO, you might want to get in contact with them at

Daniel,

I understand now. I am helping my father-in-law with this so I’m a bit new to the lingo, etc.

Thanks.

Daniel, just curious - why are they protesting increased density? Is it surface owner?

My Best,

Ann

Ann,

I have no idea. I’ve look at the county records and could not find WIN, LLC as paying taxes on any property in 32 3S 3E. I don’t remember if I looked at the leases. I sent an e-mail to the lawyer in Edmond and nevery got a reply.
