Does anyone know what SSADU-SHO-VEL-TUM means?

We were contacted by Linn Energy that we had some money in suspense since 2009 but they wont tell me how much. The division order says we have .00028415 in the SSADU - SHO - VEL - TUM. So these are shallow wells?

They might be in today’s terms. That field is old. What S-T-R are you in?

jaccai, the SSADU is South Sholem Alchem Deese Unit- it’s my understanding it is named after a Yiddish author. As Ms. Barnes said, it’s a very old unit in the Sho Vel Tum field. It encompasses a number of sections including 11-2s-3w. It produces from the Deese formation and has been under waterflood for a number of years.

Okay, so since there are a number of sections then this probably means I’m not going to be a millionaire huh. Dang it

Let me put it this way - I’d rather have several small checks than one larger check.

SHO-VEL-TUM is the field name of a very old field. The SSADU is probably the name of a particular sand S SAnd Development Unit for secondary or tertiary recovery. Whatever leases you had prior to the development of that field have been superseded by the Unit Agreement for the secondary recovery. On the good side, you may be able to lease deeper levels, since these old fields are very shallow. They sometimes had to release everything deeper than the named sands of the unit.

11-2s-3w

Jaccai it is to give you info on what is going on around you as close as I can get.

Ron, That would be in 5S-3W Carter. Anxiously waiting for the completion report.

Awesome, thanks so much!

Thanks Ron!!! So I’m not too familiar with all of this, since none if those are IN section 8 that would not be something we would receive royalty on? Directional drilling confuses me! Thanks so much for sending!

Olvis nothing under name .Township and range might work . Do you have?

Ron McKenzie,

Along with O. Ray Strickland, I am also interested in viewing the Continental completion report on the Texoma 1-26-35XH located in Section 26 5S 3W, Carter County, Oklahoma. Thanks Ron for your post.

Could someone explain to me how you know what sections are included on horizontal wells? I’m assuming if it says 1-35-26XH it means sections 35 and 26 and are those the only ones? Thanks.

Hello Carter County.

I need council on who to call, what to do c/o salt water damage created by the operator.

Robert

Jaccai, Yes, that is generally correct. Sometimes they may spud just over the line in another section.

I attached the well permit. Read through it and you will see the surface and bottom hole locations - PREDICTED with the % completion in each section.

Also attached the spud record. Started on March 16, so should be close to being finished. You won’t get a division order for another five or six months. Probably won’t see a completion report for a few months either unless someone on forum as a working interest.
