I also have trouble loging in and I have to log in every time I come on site.
Daniel,
I’ve had problems with getting emails for a long time. I’ve complained to R T Dukes in charge of the Forum and have paid for my computer tech to come check my computer 3 times and still seldom get anything. My computer tech says the problem is not in my computer. I’m glad Eleanor Lake and I are not the only Forum Members having problems. I’m sure there are probably others that haven’t spoken up. I am a member of approx. 40 County Forums and several I never get any emails from. I have to pull up the main Forum page and search the left side of the page for comments from members to me. It is very annoying if some Member is asking me a question and I am not aware of it through my emails.

I didn’t get your last post. I had to come on here to see if there was any new posts.
Earlier I tried to change my password, and I never got the e-mail they said they would send.
For some unexplained reason I have not been getting any posts form this forum. No e-mails for the last couple of days.
My husband and I recently purchased 20 acres of net minerals (a bit more) in the Pooleville area. I noticed on the minerals Owner Registry there are 74 new wells being drilled in the area. We were told by the previous owner there was once a well that may have been plugged and abandoned. Our minerals are located in Section 3, T2 South, R2 West. How can we check if there truly is an abandoned well, or if these are not producing and the money is being held in suspense? Thanks for your help.
Thank you Daniel. So you are looking at 6 wells drilled in that particular Township, Range and Section? Where can we look this up or do you have access to a site or info that is not open access? It is frustrating trying to find this stuff and we feel certain there may be something we need to look into. Any tips we might use? Thanks a lot. Liz
Here is another website you might try
http://okcountyrecords.com/search.php?county=010
Enter - Oil and Gas Lease
then 03 02S 02W
You should see 28 lease back to 2011
There has been some activity over in section 4 with the Ackers wells, but they are all verticle wells, no horizontal wells. I think these are all Oil, no gas wells.
Are you a member of the Mineral Owner’s Registry that lets you check new drilling in any county? I think we paid $30/year to join. It tells you the legal description of the wells, depth, company, etc. It has been well worth the info we have gotten, but the amount of new wells being drilled or approved to drill in that particular area is incredible.
We have minerals in that area as well. That is another area that has blown up.
15% depletion is a Fed. deduction, you also get a Oklahoma depletion of 22%. These can be entered into the Turbo Tax on line tax forms which I use. I am also out of state.
I can find 6 wells drilled since 1977.
1 well in '77 DRY
4 wells in 81, 3 DRY, 1 (KENNDEY 3-1) maybe producing
1 well in '89 DRY.
Go to this website http://www.occpermit.com/WellBrowse/
Enter the county, section as 03, township as 02S, and range as 02W. This will give you a list of all the wells.
Great Daniel. Will do. Thanks so much!
We are in Ardmore. I was shocked to count 74 new wells on the Mineral Owner’s Registry (Citation, Lewis and a couple other companies). That is a LOT of activity.
Are you located in Carter County?
I’ve been looking at a couple of drilling websites
http://www.drillingahead.com/ FREE and
www.rigdata.com $40/month for weekly reports.
Both show less than 15 rigs working in Carter County at any one time.
No. I go to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission website and check out the Permits, Spud Reports, and Completion reports. This is one of the site I posted for you.
Two things that could make the count high is the area they are talking about and the time frame.
During the last quarter of 2012, there where 91 drilling permits issue by the state for all of Carter County.
My mineral interest is just South of the Gene Autry. XTO is over in that area and I am waiting for them to start drilling on a completed pad on Mt Plesant Rd.
