This news seems like it is a good thing for owners in this area. I'm not exactly sure what I'm reading though. Can anyone put this into lay terms for those less educated?
Newfield is a powerful player in the area and given time will be much more likely to continue to develop the area as it fits into their STACK strategy.
I would encourage you to read the latest Q1 investor presentations (most out last week) from Newfield, Continental Resources, Devon, Cimarex and Marathon to get an idea of what is going on the area.
