I have received a Division Order from Chevron that looks more like a Lease than a Division Order. Eleven paragraphs long dictating how all oil becomes the property of Chevron. And how all payments will be Net payments, after gathering, transportation, separating, treating, etc...

I am trying to find my Lease which was initially leased to Cimarex before Chevron purchased it from them.

Is this an attempt to alter the Mineral Lease?

No. Chevron would be required to purchase your lease from Cimarex intact. What you referred to relates to marketing petroleum products, typical Division Order stuff. If you don't find your current lease, there is a copy at Lea County Courthouse which you can access.
