Is an overriding royalty owner normally included in a Class Action Settlement when it says “all persons or entities who are or were royalty owners in Class Wells"?
Randy: there really is no “normal”. Get a copy of the pleadings and especially the settlement document itself. In my experience, terms like “royalty owners” will be defined. If it’s not, contact the attorneys for the plaintiff class and ask.
