CLR To Be Acquired by the Hamm Family

Will there be new Division Orders or will it be business as usual? https://investors.clr.com/2022-10-17-Continental-Resources-Announces-Definitive-Agreement-to-Be-Acquired-by-the-Hamm-Family

Probably business as usual.

I bought CLR to hold long term, but either had to sell for $74.28 a share or join with a group protesting the appraised value. I was tempted to hold part of it back to see what would happen, but ended up selling it all at the stated price. On another note, will Continental wells, now that the company is privately held, be open to the same oversight as they have been in the past when Continental was a publicly held company? Will it inhibit class action lawsuits in any way?

The operations of wells will be held to the same state regulatory oversight as in the past.

I cannot comment on any legal issues.
