I’ve been getting mail from a place called Community Minerals in Houston, TX wanting to buy my mineral rights on my 1acre lot in Lonesome Dove Estate in Bledsoe, TX. I have not been notified of any company doing any mineral mining. I don’t want to sale any of my rights but would be up to leasing my land. Any one have any suggestion on what I should do. I just keep ignoring the requests.

They send out massive mailings… can just ignore if you are not interested. If leasing agents want to find you, they will. Make sure your name and contact information are properly filed in the county courthouse. That is the place where landmen look.
