Consider that this is a straight hole test of the Woodford Shale. Do some computation. Note the number of feet that was actually perforated and fracked in this formation, then the number of feet per barrel and mcf/d initial production. The Woodford is approx. 221 ft thick at this location. Of course there are no guarantees, but the prospect of a horizontal of 4 to 5 thousand feet might yield a viable well. Note that unsolicited offers to purchase in the area are being received. Somebody thinks they know something. Look up the recent completion report on the Salt Creek 1-33H (location 1 mile N and 7 miles E). Caution: mind the words underlined!
Sounds like a ray of sun shine! Do you think they will do more drilling in the area? This well had to have been very expensive to complete.
