Are companies required to publish completed well reports? If so... how often are they required to do this? Specifically, I am referring to the Indultado well is McClain county. Perhaps I am looking in the wrong places. Does anyone have a link to a source?

Yes, they are required to do so. If a wildcat they can sometimes delay the public seeing the report.

There is a spud report. But no completion report. A completion report will be a form 1002A.
I believe they are required to "submit" the completion to the OCC within 30 days. That does not mean that it is published.
The well has been producing since July 2017. The production unit number is 087-218938-0-0000

You can also search by legal, but that causes some issues in the multi section case. Permits are by surface location, OTC production "usually" is by one of the production locations and "sometimes" by both.

I don't see production reported yet. The PUN was active in December. Sales will start showing up in about 2 months. There is a way to sometimes obtain oil sales, but it is very time consuming. You have to search imaged documents one by one to try to extract based on PUNs, hoping you picked the right purchases/reporting party. Those are usually about 3-4 months back.

Records are by pun, but you have to search each individual document. It is not an easy task. In some cases you can find where the operator has sold other wells nearby and see who the purchaser was. Start by searching on production on 01/2018 to get an idea.
If Newfield reports directly it will be under 20944

In some cases they will use a buyer for initial production and the numbers will show up under another. It is common for Newfield to use Phillips which is 22985

I discount 1st months production and sometimes 2nd month. But 2nd month is a much better indicator. We just don't really know what is going on with the well without more information. I place very little weight in completion reports. The flow test are done before all of the frac water has flowed back and the engineers are still stabilizing the wells.
The method for finding all of this is mainly based on a lot of experience and some trial and error. It would take way to much time to cover. A search on this site may reveal more details from explanations I gave a few years ago.

Cynthia, I see that Rick has already given you information. I did see two horizontal wells - the Lohman and Ryan and 1002A Completion Reports are not yet available.

32-9N-4W. EOG Resources has a horizontal well planned. You should have gotten the OCC case dockets and information mailed to you. If not, then I can give you the contact info. There is a planned well that goes from 8-8N-4W into 32-Wilson #0532 1H. There are several wells from that pad. The 0532 well spud May 30. Not much of the well will be perforated in 32.
