My guess would be for present day tax deductions as a business deduction. Then possibly cap it off and not produce until prices rise.
That seems unlikely. Comstock has already drilled, completed, and brought to production 13 of these Lower Bossier/Haynesville wells in Leon and Robertson Counties. In addition, gas prices have already risen. The NYMEX cash price today is $3.65.

Has anyone heard anything else on this well? It’s been pretty quiet since the permit was communicated. I’m guessing we should know pretty soon if it started drilling on 11/5.
Two to three months has been the usual drilling time for these wells, so drilling should be completed soon.
