Comstock well at Hwy 79 and CR 348

Would anyone be able to assist me in locating the permit, API# or lease name for this well? Pad has already been laid. Thank you!

CR 348 just east of New Baden off 79 in Robertson County? Also called Hanhart RD? Pad on the south side of 79?

If so, that is CAZEY MS , Lease No.: 296008 , Well No.: 1H, API 39532090 and has produced 4.6BCF since Aug 2023.

There is a Comstock well a fair ways off hi 79 not too far from County rd 348 in Leon County. It is API 28932194. It is a new permit # 899093, I bet it is what you are looking for.

The latter is exactly what I am looking for. Thank you!

Actually, I spoke too soon. The one I am looking for is approximately 1.25 miles north of the permitted location above. Pad has already been laid.

The pad location is in JB/JE Therrill right behind the MP RR track parallel to Hwy 79.

Comstock hasn’t filed a permit request yet for that location.

Yet a permit was approved and a lease # assigned for a well site just south of there, even though no pad has been laid. Are these procedural inconsistencies typical?

Inconsistencies are typical…

For example, Comstock’s Neyland MMM 1H and RT Glass 1H have been producing since January and February respectively, but neither has a lease ID yet. The GD Farley 1H and WA Harrison 1H didn’t have first production until March, but they have lease IDs.

Thank you, Alan. I still don’t get the method to that madness. I would think the RRC would require a producing well to have a lease id. Strange…
