Confusion between 2 lease names and API #'s

I own a NPRI interest in Reeves Co. Sec 19 Blk 4. “It is stipulated and agreed that said survey contains 611.9 acres of land, so that this conveyance shall be construed to cover and include 2.5/611.9 fractional part of the one -eighth (1/8) royalty interest in and to the oil, gas and other minerals that may be produced from the above described land.” In April of 2018 I signed a ratification of pooled unit for the (State CVX Unit A1922). Just recently came across it and wondered what was going on with it. I never received a division order for it, nor got paid. When I looked on the RRC website under drilling permits I see 4 line items under API # 38935359 District 08 Reeves Co. with 2 lease names - the State CVX 22 and State CVX Unit A1922 with the same well #. There is also a State CVX 22 under API # 38935111 district 08 Reeves Co. What would the difference be between the (2) State CVX 22 and how does the Unit A1922 tie into CVX 22 when it has the same API # 38935359? I’m wondering if I should have gotten paid under API # 38935359 for either well and also under API # 38935111 for that well with the same name. On the production data the State CVX Unit A1922 only shows 4 months from Nov 2016 thru Jan 2022 that had any production. But the State CVX 22 has consistent production from April 2016 thru Jan 2022. The State CVX Unit A1922 was converted to a salt water disposal. That shows to be in 2018 around the same time I got the Ratification to sign and wonder why I got it. I’m not the surface owner and from what I’ve read it is they who would get paid not the royalty owners.

I have similar concerns. No response yet?

Hi Debra and Tsavay, the well with API 42-389-35359 was converted to a disposal well, and as you noted these royalties usually are paid to the surface owners. Before the well was converted, it had very small production, and the payout due may have never met the minimum check amount. Some companies won’t send a check for less than $10.
The well with API 42-389-35111 is producing, but it doesn’t appear to extend onto Section 19 (A-390), so if your interest is only in Section 19, you wouldn’t have interest in the 389-35111 well. There may be other explanations, but that is my guess from looking at the RRC map.
