I recently recorded a minerals deed (greater Houston area) and would like to change the wording in the deed. Just wondering what steps are needed for this undertaking. Ed
Check with a Texas attorney. In Oklahoma some corrective language may clarify a deed that corrects spelling, legal descriptions etc. However, changing the terms of a deed may be more difficult.
