Until the gas and oil gathering infrastructure is a lot more complete in the Delaware basin west of the Pecos River all the exploration companies will be Drilling but leaving Uncompleted wells everywhere…those are called DUC wells. DUC wells can be used to hold a lease, but pay no royalties until completed and brought online.
