I have mineral rights in Section 23-Township 7North, Range 8 East 26.66 net mineral acres. Does anyone know if there is activity here at this time?

All past production in the section ceased as of 1990. No leasing in the last two years. No knowledge about buying.
Michelle, people are always buying mineral rights. I get purchase offers all the time. I am a semi-retired petro landman and mineral owner, grew up in Hughes.
Very few of the companies offers are even close to market value. Also Market Value on non-producing minerals is difficult to determine unless there is serious leasing activity going on in the section. I would not sell if you do not need the cash now. Are you in Hughes County? You need to file a document in the county deed records stating your name, legal descriptions and current contact info. Maybe they cannot find you t o extend offers. Also check OKla unclaimed propertyl.
