current price per acre for mineral rights/Grady Co
Moved this over to Grady County. This has been asked recently. The geology varies quite a bit in the county. Totally dependent upon where you are. I think Jeffrey_Beunier had a good response. Search his name.
as Martha indicated, the geology and hence production profiles vary widely in Grady. If you post or pm location I can see if I can lend some assistance.
Hi. I’m interested in information about sections 3-5N-5W & 34-6N-5W in Grady County, Oklahoma. Is there still any activity going on there? Do you know about mineral rights and prices for mineral rights and leasing, etc. I’m new to all this but I’m trying to get it figured out for my father-in-law who has property there. Thank you in advance.
Lots of leasing and mineral sales in both sections.
I counted 104 current OGL’s in section 3-5N-5W and 125 current OGL’s in section 34-6N-5W. Way to many companies leasing to name them all.
Mineral sales in both sections that I looked at ranged from $11,000 to $13,000/NMA.
Note: I only looked at MD’s that listed the number of acres being sold.
One mineral deed sale was subject to a Continental lease with one year remaining on the lease. Included an Exhibit A with a Depth Clause, Pugh Clause, No Deductions Clause (unless product is enhanced) and a 2-year Shut-In Clause.
One mineral deed sale was subject to a Ward lease with one year remaining, but an option for 2 additional years in the Exhibit A.
Another mineral deed sale did not appear to be subject to a lease.
It seems there is some conflict over drilling in Sections 13 and 24 9N-5W between EOG and ROAN. It seems there could be something reasonably worked out. Don’t most companies work things out and share the costs and the rewards?
Most do work it out and move along with the drilling.
