Just received an offer from Continental Resources (through Diamond Resources out of Williston,ND) on some as yet unleased acreage in T28N 57E sec.23. Anyone else have leases or dealings with Continental recently?
We have most of our land leased to Continental thru Diamond; just last year they found 80acres on an adjoining property to our oil well and offered them $1,000 an acres; a very fair price for a big parcel, and they took it; They are a large and fair company from what I have seen!!

We also have acreage in both MT and ND leased to Continental. Their prices have been fair and terms very fair. This is largest mineral lessor in the Williston Basin and a good bet that drilling will occur in due time.

XTO and Brigham/Strat have permitted well south, west and SE of 23. Closest horizontal well production is to the West a couple of mines.
There should be some competition for your lease in a few months. I expect Continental is wanting a position in the area. You should be able to get good lease terms so examine the lease terms carefully as you may never get another chance.
