if a declaration of pooling agreement includes my grandfather’s lease and indicates his percentage of the pooling acreage, does that mean that he is a party to the pooling lease and intitled to a prorated royalty payment? he no longer owns the actual tract of land.

When your grandfather sold the land, did he reserve the OGM rights? If so, then the answer to your question may be yes.
It is not uncommon for decade old & sometimes century old leases to be listed on DOUs. If the tract is Held by Production by a historic shallow well, then the operator will list the steering lease holding the property.
