I owned 27.9 acres of a 365 acre tract in Reeves County, leased it in 2010, and then sold it in 2011. My question is, the original lease listed correctly, the 27.9 acres as part of a 365 acre tract, but the final lease, and deed transfer listed the entire tract of 365 acres only. Was this correct, or did the company illegally transfer all 365 acres to me, and then to themselves. I was paid for the 27.9 acres that I owned, but concerned about the remainder of the property. The company claimed that that is the way it is done.
