I was just told that Stevens and Tull / OGM Land Company is becomming very active in the Mitchell County area...has anyone had any conversations with them yet?

The new activity in Mitchell County is crazy. Still not sure our property is in a "prime" area...according to Stevens and Tull, it is on the "edge" of their focus area.

I have the description from the deed...I will message you with the information. Not in touch with the neighbors any longer...everyone moved off so can't confirm that (or don't know how to confirm it)... Check you message.

Let me know please, we are south of I-20 approx 1 mile, the old Britton place, we were just offered $550 - 22% royalties, we are talking with 2 other people before we make a decision. Ed hope you do well (pardon the pun)lol

I would NOT take 22% when the companies are offering 25% and the royalty money is where the money really is--- also, be sure to look at a lease that has all sorts of other payments like cattle guards, drilling pads, water reparations, land restorations, fences,---- $100-150 an acre is just WRONG-- I cannot imagine that anyone is taking that low from any company right now.
It is very quiet in this group...is this a good or bad sign? What is everyone seeing? There seemed to be a lot of activity a two weeks ago...is that still the case for everyone?
What companies are offering 25%, so far Laredo and firewheel were offering $550 with 22%

Things are still happening not as fast, we are still in negotiations with 2 co., so I don't know
I think a lot has been bought, and now it is just us holdouts..lol

Maybe so (a lot has been bought)...maybe we are the crazy ones. We are getting close to being done...hopefully by next week. Then the real waiting game begins.

yes, Devon is at $550 and 25%.
We have not made a final decision yet but reviewing a strong offer from Stevens and Tull.
