Does anyone know of any dri,,ing activety by Devon Energy in North Grimes County(Iola area)?

Devon drilled a well in June of 2011 and never got it completed. For various reasons, most likely they couldn't make the curve through the Austin Chalk and lost returns and couldn't set pipe. They have just permitted a 10,000' Horizontal well called the Lloyd Trust No. 1H in Madison county 4 miles NE of North Zulch on the North side of FM 1452. They do however have between 8K to 10K acres leased just in Northern Grimes and Southern Madison. Don't know about any future plans for drilling on that certain acreage though. I would assume they will try and drill down there again sometime this year, just my assumption or they might JV their acreage with someone or farm it out.

Devon just exercised their two year lease extension on my Grimes County acreage.

Devon exercised its option to extend their lease for 2 years on our Grimes County acreage, if you hear any news concerning drilling in this area I would appreciate hearing from you. I will do the same.
