I own multiple producing properties in Texas. I do audits from time to time. I am collecting a small stack of files whereby the Operator says I do not own in the well(s) anymore, despite providing to them, the source deed and the division order. They do not offer any explanation either. (reduced the unit size etc) The well(s) are still producing. Since the interests are so small, it does not warrant hiring an attorney or a landman to run title. Even if I had a title report done, there is no guarantee the operator will honor it? Should I just file these away and move on? Thoughts?
It is worth visiting with a Texas Attorney. A couple are listed in the directory. I would ask for the reason and have account for all interests within your legal description.

I understand what you are saying but every lawyer I have found out about or companies that do that want to be paid up front. Sometimes a person isn’t able to afford the expense what is another best way to look into?
