Sounds to me like you need to rescind the division orders and clear up the acreage issue. I've had several neighbors of mine in Fort Worth who are going through the same problems, with no remedy as the operator keeps eluding responsibility to correct the issue. I talked to a surveyor last night who discovered one of his friends was shorted over 12 acres as the operator did not include his acreage to the center of a large freeway in Fort Worth. Survey mistakes do happen.
You are correct, they most likely would suspend the royalty payments.
