Divide co Nd leasing

Has there been any oil leasing activity in Divide county North Dakota?

Yes, CANDAK field. Supposedly for the benefit of Formentera. If you go to the GIS map and search for well #19530 , you find a request for an extension on time for the TA of this well, in the well file. Numerous wells in the area also have recent (late 2023) Authorizations to purchase and transport oil. This holds for wells with Temp Abandonment and Inactive Status.

Welcome to the forum.
You need to be more specific as to township and range when posting a question. The county is large and answers will vary by location. There have been 3647 leases in the last 24 months. If you give your township and range, the forum can help you with a more local answer.

We have mineral acres just south of Divide and have been approached by Landman leasing for Phoenix and KODA. Several new wells have been drilled to the North and West of established plays.

The Divide township is 163 north, range 103 in Divide county that i was wondering if there was any lease activity.

Yes, sec 2, 24, 36-163N-103W have some new leasing activity by Williston Basin Energy back in August of 2024. The Grantor was State of North Dakota.

Thank you. Must be state trust lands put up for bids. I was hoping private lands were begining to be looked at as i have mineral rights in that area.

My sibling and I leased to Koda in April of 2024, in the northern part of T161N, R102W. In Sept. of 2024 Koda requested a drilling permit for their usual 1920-acre spacing unit in sections 5, 8, & 17 (which is where our lease is located), but it was never permitted that I can find in NDIC’s daily Reports. Only Koda’s request for a 1920-acre unit in sections 2, 11, & 14 has been granted. Koda is on the April 2025 docket to request a pooling order for sections 4, 9, & 16. Then in Jan. & Feb. of 2025, 2 companies that BUY mineral rights approached us, one offering us $100K each and one offering $66K each, to buy our mineral rights. I am assuming that since we’ve already leased, we should hold out for possible drilling.

161N-102W Koda has four permits for 33/28/21 (SL in 33). Two permits for 34/27/22 (SL in 6) with two already drilled. They have another set of two going south out of 24 into 25/36 and one going north from 24 into 14/11/2
