Hello all I’m back again feeling stressed and confused…okay so I have a division order that is in Hughes county 06 09N 09E. That’s all good. But when I look it up in Hughes county clerk I only can find things on 08 09N 09E. State of Oklahoma says I need proof that I own it but I can’t seem to find that at all… Annnnnd lol In Creek I can’t find any info on 34 17N 08E…I’m sorry I’m really not good at this stuff yet.

If you are making a claim of unclaimed property the treasurer will require a deed, probate order or other documentation of your ownership.

Remember that a well may not have a surface location in the section of mineral ownership. Most old vertical wells do, but newer horizontal wells may be in a location just over the section border in another section.
