I received division orders for two recently completed allocation wells. These wells are next to a producing well (ours). Is there anything I need to know/do before signing and returning these forms? You should understand how the DOI was calculated as it likely differs from the other wells. With allocation wells, it is generally calculated on the percentage of the producing horizontal lateral wellbore which crosses your minerals, rather than by acreage.
