Do Division Orders have to be signed to get paid?

Section 28-10-7 in Grady county. Camino’s American Bison went into production on 4/14/21. I’ve received two division orders for two different properties. Do I have to sign and return them to get paid? If not, how do I communicate my desire to not sign the DO’s to the company? Should I expect any interest on my first payments?

Division Orders are not required in OK. However, I sign them if they are correct and on the NADOA style form that does not change any lease terms to give my heirs a clear paper trail. You can confirm your name and contact information and send in a W-9 so that you do not have federal taxes taken out. You would only get interest if the payments are over 180 days after first sales.

Ms. Barnes - are you required to sign Division Orders in Texas to get paid?

Yes, certain states do require Division Orders to be signed. Texas is one of them.

Thanks for the prompt reply.
