There has been drilling in Atascosa County for several years. More information is needed regarding your land in order to determine if drilling is happening in your exact location. I am guessing that you know whether you have mineral ownership or or not.

Well, someone would need the full legal description of the property in order to determine whether it is in an area where drilling is currently going on. I doubt that anything is happening in that area or a landman would have been in touch to lease your minerals, understand that is my opinion only. I worked in that area some a couple of years ago but much has changed with the drilling since then.
We currently have a lease with Marathon Oil, expires June, 2013.... Have not heard anything....
