Mr. Liles, thank you so much for posting this. It is good news to see drillling activity in and around Crockett, Texas. My question is I don’t know where this property is. Can you tell me where it is? It says 10 miles west of Crockett. I still would not be able to find exactly where the rig is.

Welcome to Mineral Rights Forum and Houston County Group. For now I would not contact EOG. I assure you they know where your minerals are. Just try to be patient. You are in a great location for future production. Let's let them drill a well or two and see what the completion reports say and then you can negotiate a good lease when they come calling. Give me some time and I will check for completion reports for some of the wells that have been drilled in the area.

Just across the Trinity River to the north in A-8 is well # 32004. It is in Leon County/drilled by Trivium Oper., LLC/Dec 2012/permitted for 11,000'/Status is Shut-in-Producer
Also just across the Trinity River to the north in A-8 is well # 32003. Leon County/drilled by Trivium Oper., LLC/July 2012/permitted for 11,000'/Status is Shut-in-Producer
Also just across the Trinity River to the north well # 32135. It is being drilled by EOG Resources/Drilling began July 2014/possibly still being drilled at this time/permitted for 9,250'
In Houston County to the southeast of A-1087 in A-88 is well # 31248/permitted for 11,000'/Shut-in-Producer/New Discovery Field-Hoffman Lane(Woodbine A Formation)/2012
No completion Reports found on these wells-everything is hush, hush.
Your minerals are in a fantastic area so be patient. If I was leasing in this area I would certainly consider EOG as the oil company to do business with. My opinion is their completion crews are the Best. Good luck with your minerals.

Thank you again. I also noticed these shut-in sites with no production showing. Yet it looks like permits are still being submitted for nearby areas. Your "hush hush" assumption sounds right. Your time spent and help provided are quite appreciated. I will be patiently watching while this all develops.
