While on a trip yesterday somewhere between Rockport and Sinton Texas, I saw several dual pumps, two pumpers maybe 20 feet from each other. Had not seen that previously and am confused why that would be. Can anyone help?
Could both be pumping from different zones. Cheaper to use one pad.
This is the norm now with the Horizontal Drilling, the operator can drill several wells from one pad as long as he has the acreage to drill. In Karnes county I have seen up to 5 pumping units off of one pad.

Well I had not thought about that, sure makes sense though. Thanks for the clarification.
