I have just over 4000 acres in these abstracts in Leon County. Is anyone aware of any lease activity in the eastern part of Leon County? Thanks

Welcome to the forum. Yes, there is leasing in eastern Leon County. Your block and abstract numbers seem to be missing from the post. If you are going off of old leases, they probably have gross acreage on them. Your net acreage may be different.

Your tracts are southeast of Comstock’s current lease area. However, it’s pretty close. Comstock has leased as far south as the JB Melton A-583 Survey, which is just north of the SB Marshall A-13 Survey.
Comstock (or Mitsui or another company) may someday extend the leasing into your tracts, but it all depends on the geology and the timeframe can’t be predicted.
