Enverus-Drilling Info-Virtual Scout

Hello! Anyone on here used the Enverus product/Drilling info? I have set up a virtual scout with Areas of Interest for tracts where we own minerals. I am getting alerts, but they are for areas where we don’t own any minerals. Not sure why this is happening. Anyone use this tool and have any thoughts they could share?

@SMSTX1, this may work in a similar way to the alerts in MineraliQ, which is also from Enverus. The alerts pick-up permits or rigs within a certain distance of your known mineral holdings. This makes some sense since horizontal wells can extend 2 or 3 miles from the permit/surface location. Depending on the direction the well path actually goes, there is a chance it may hit property within a certain distance. The tools may not be sophisticated enough to analyze well plat drawings, so they just post an alert for possible, nearby work.

We have an account with EnergyLink to track all our royalty revenues. I use that data to create an Excell spreedsheet to track monthly income and therefore have a fair idea what to pay for quarterly estimated taxes. Energylink hooked us up with Mineral IQ which has some much great information (IMHO) that it will take me a month or more to drill (no pun intended) down into all the information and mapping available on this free version. From the home page of Mineral IQ you can click on a link, See Wells on Map, and it will show all your interests that they have on record on the map. You can then zoom in to really detailed site information which appears to show the path of the well bores. It looks like they are now offering an upgrade for $50 monthly fee were you can run analysis on your profolio. If I could only afford to spend sevral hours a day messing around with this software the information would be amazing. Check it out.
