I was recently offered $90 per rod for a gas line right-of-way across my small tract in McClain County. Does anyone know if that is a reasonable offer?
I received 240.00 per rod in mcclain co, april 2015
I heard that a neighbor was paid $200 in January 2016, and last summer my father was paid $225 per rod.
It depends on a lot of factors. But no. That offer is not in the ballpark.
Similar to an oil and gas lease, you should also pay attention to the terms offered.
On same topic-how much impact does gas line have on future potential development/value of property and how should that impact the terms/price for right-of-way?
