On royalty checks from Hilcorp, some San Juan wells are listed twice. Once with FC Tr and next with MV Tr. For instance, MV Tr 037 and FC Tr 037. Are these different products? Different wells? Thanks in advance.
After studying paycheck, MV Tr entry includes oil, gas and propane revenue. FC is simply gas revenue. But I’d still like to know what those acronyms stand for-- and why the well is listed twice.
Look for a code on the bottom of the check run statement.
Looked but don’t see. Have looked through all their material online, but nothing.
I’ve solved it. The initials on the pay stubs are pools and commingling terms. MV is Mesaverde. FC is Fruitland Coal. And so on.
That was my next guess. A formation code. The TR can mean tract.
