Just received an offer to participate or lease from Felix Energy regarding the above interest. Has anyone else heard from them? Any info on “going rate” for leasing?

we received an offer from a different company in Section 9 Block 74 that started around 4,000 and we got them to go up drastically. I know it’s not exactly the same area, but its fairly close. You can see on the Texas Railroad Commission GIS Map that there have been two permits to drill wells in Section 29 Blk 74 filed in January of 2019. I hope this information helps. We also signed a lease with Felix in Winkler county a couple years back, and they were very pleasant to work with and were negotiable on some of their terms.

Alexis, Haven’t heard much about lease terms since late 2017 and early 2018, but offers we’re north of $10,000 ma back then —some even higher in Blk c-23 TX above Blk 74 and in New Mexico just across TX/NM state lines. We have small open acreage in a couple of weird “twin” sections 5 and 6 in C-23, which were split somehow to have 4 abstract numbers. At least that’s the way it looks on maps.
