Get and read the title insurance policy. If that doesn't explain what you want to know, ask your broker or lawyer handling the transaction. It they don't know, you may have to hire an abstract company. In most parts of Pecos County, it is a good investment for anything over 5 acres. Do not take the seller's word for it.
