The part about the dangers of US 285 between Carlsbad and Pecos caused by so much oilfield traffic really needs to be known. It’s become so bad we decided to go west through Culberson County on our way back to Carlsbad this week from Big Bend County.
Thank you Kathy, I loved the article. The last time we were in Pecos there was one restaurant. and empty buildings. I hope to hear from an oil company soon… I only have land without minerals. Lots of people must be very happy in Texas.
