Found old Division Order in my dad's files

Going through old documents of my dad’s who died in 2015 and found a Division Order from Permian Corporation that lists him, his parents and his brother, all deceased now. It’s dated 1972. How do I find info on this and determine if their heirs (my siblings and cousins) have any money owed from this DO? I know nothing at all about this and none of my family had any knowledge that this existed.

The Division Order should have a description of the well or wells. You can use the state oil and gas site to determine if there is still production. You can also check with the unclaimed funds in the state of residence to see if there is anything there. You can also check with the county courthouse where the minerals are located to see if the minerals were sold.
